January 2019

Open Day at unique Heritage Museum

Take time out on the Australia Day weekend and be prepared for a COOL day out at the Museum. Reduced admission fees apply as there will be no rides on this day due to annual maintenance and inspections. All of the great exhibits will be open to the public, including the recently air-conditioned shop and café. Both model rooms will enable children of all ages to see the railway world in miniature. Climb aboard the carriages and engines that made railways the driving force in the development of New South Wales. Listen to Charlie and Harry as they ready their steam loco for the day's work and read about the daily tasks of the Call Boy as he cycled round the area. Newly developed child-friendly signage makes the key exhibits come to life with easy-to-read explanations.

A terrific day out for the whole family!
