Bistro on Brightlands (Blackheath)

Welcome to Blackheath Golf and Community Club where you can play on one of the most picturesque golf courses in NSW located in the heart of the world heritage-listed Blue Mountains.

Blackheath is the Blue Mountains’ rhododendron village. Our course is lined with these colourful flowering trees along with maples, blossoms, azaleas and other botanical treasures that flourish in our special part of the Mountains. Our parkland-like setting abounds with many native birds and ducks that thrive on our course and waterways.
The clubhouse is the place to enjoy genuine Mountains hospitality with a Bistro, Bar and Barbecue, catering for all occasions including corporate golf days, weddings and other social events. Our clubhouse is also a great place to relax with friends and family no matter the occasion or time of year.
Come to Blackheath Golf Club and enjoy a game of golf, dinner in our restaurant or simply have a relaxing drink on our deck overlooking the course.  We have free live music every Wednesday and Saturday night which makes for an enjoyable atmosphere to eat, catch up with friends or even dance, if you are in the mood.

Blackheath Golf Club BURNS SUPPER

Burns Supper - 27th January 2018

The birthday of Robert Burns - the famous Scottish poet and songwriter - is celebrated around the world at the end of January each year.  This year the Blackheath Golf and Community Club is hosting its first ever Burns Supper to celebrate the Bard’s birthday.

It will be a very Scottish night, with a piper to welcome you at the door and to pipe in the haggis; three magnificent singers, David Hamilton, Linda Foulsham and Christine Wheeler to sing some of Burns’ songs; readings of some of his poems; an exhibition of Scottish country dancing by the Blue Mountains Scottish Country Dance Club and dinner music provided by the Orchard Boat, in their Celtic mode!  Get into the mood and wear something tartan!

Mer will provide another of his delicious buffet meals, this time with a Scottish flavour (you can even try some haggis as an optional entree) and all this for a very frugal Scottish $50 per head - just a “wee bawbee or twa”.

Seating from 7:00pm - Function commences at 7:30pm

Tickets are on sale now - ring 4787 8406.
