14 Lovel St hostel

The original guesthouse, "Fairmount", was built circa 1913.

For the last 30 years, 14 Lovel St was known as No14 Backpackers Hostel (or Number Fourteen). The house was restored and extended by the owner...and the wonderful murals you see around the house are by another family member.

On 6 October 2017, the next chapter for 14 Lovel Street began with Annette & Gavin becoming the proud new owners. We are very lucky to have Mandy and Kym staying on and continuing to take care of our guests...and super excited to be the next caretakers of this historic guesthouse.
No.14 Lovel St prides itself on being a quiet, peaceful and relaxing place to stay. Definitely not a party hostel, but a great place to rest after a big day exploring the Blue Mountains. Please check our website for full details and house rules to make sure we're the right choice for you.
